Carl Bauer CEng MICE MIStructE has 30 years of experience in Structural Engineering working on projects both large and small. He started his career on large projects for a major international consultancy in London working on projects such as The Royal Opera House and Portcullis House. He then spent 15 years working in Southern Africa including 10 years working independently on variety of projects in the residential, commercial, educational and industrial sectors. On returning to London he worked with a small design led consultancy for ten years before setting up independently again. He has extensive experience in alterations, extensions, basements, stairs, historic structures and is familiar with the full range of materials and construction types. He has worked with many Architects and built up a good reputation for creative problem solving with them.
